Yuba is great for a close weekend getaway by the water. Great close getaway spot. Yuba State Park - Painted Rocks Campground in Levan is rated 7.0 of 10 at Campground Reviews. There is no vegetation surrounding the beach, so the winds were constant. Campground amenities include drinking water, pit toilets, hot showers ($) and a dump station. All I seen was large carpet surfacing. If possible I want to explain that the Yuba Lake SP also has "beach camping". The bathrooms were horrible, and no one cleans them. I went through Pike and perch. Fishing is poor, Lake gets windy in the afternoon, Going to water ski is the fairly early. Campsites can accommodate trailers/RVs from 25-45 feet. We'd love to hear about your adventure. We only stayed one night, having never been to Yuba Lake we wondered why we hadn't been before. The good part is there is plenty of sites to use and not … 99% of the area has not tall vegetation. Did you find us useful? It's so close to Salt Lake City and it has 3 campgrounds. Read more.
