Please have respect for others.To get here take the McKenzie Hwy 126 14 miles east of McKenzie Bridge. We passed a few pretty exposed campsites along the way to Buck's Bridge where we planned to stop for the night. According to two fitbits, it was closer to 5.5 miles round trip. Be aware that for a few miles before Blue Pool the river dips underground and there is no access to flowing water in case you run out and need to filter. Nice campground about halfway (Trail Bridge Reservoir), amazing views on the way. It's a three day, two night hike and allows you to really stop and see the sights. Paradise Campground is more established, with set campsites, and a restrooms throughout the campgrounds.

Turn at the Trailbridge Campground sign, you will cross a bridge and quickly turn right onto a gravel road. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Gets more crowded further in the day. Recommend leaving by 11 am when people start streaming in (most not even wearing masks)hi i went there yesterday and a young man jumped off the rocks into the water. We planned poorly for this and didn't pack enough water containers to camp away from a water source. Water was absolutely beautiful to look at.

Due to all sites mentioned below are located along the river banks, the best collecting time is during the summer and early fall months when the water level drops and more materials are exposed. Dogs are also able to use this trail. to get down to the water, you must go over the falls. Trail is pretty dusty currently, so expect shoes to need a quick dusting.Great to do once, but I will not go again because of the amount of people on the trail.

The Willamette Valley (/ w ɪ ˈ l æ m ɪ t /) is a 150-mile (240 km) long valley in Oregon, in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States.The Willamette River flows the entire length of the valley, and it is surrounded by mountains on three sides – the Cascade Range to the east, the Oregon Coast Range to the west, and the Calapooya Mountains to the south. The park staff and volunteers have cleared the few miles either side of the ranger station.Paradise Campground was quite nice, there was still packed snow on the ground and a few trees down but it was easy to navigate and decent place to set up camp with a young hiker in tow.The next few miles heading to Belknap Hotsprings gets progressively more difficult. Clear Lake, Blue pool and 2 beautiful waterfalls were the highlights but the whole trail was amazing. Both camping areas have restrooms, and boat ramps available. Tamolitch Blue Pool via McKenzie River Trail is a 3.7 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Blue River, Oregon that features a waterfall and is rated as moderate. Camped #2 0.75 miles into Blue Pool TH trail by Kink Creek after 9.29 miles. TLDR: Well maintained.

I did it in two days with late starts, but I would suggest taking three days to do it if you haven't seen the scenery.

Scampering through the mud pits of the root balls is required here.My first multi night trip and it was fantastic! there is a trail, you just need to look for it.Great hike through the forest with big trees along a stream. This trail is beautiful. It's an amazing sight, they took the trail with them, but the are blocking the river creating a natural dam, it's quite a sight.

Water is 38 degrees year round—be very careful swimming and do not cliff jump—deaths have happened. Most were very accommodating to the social distancing and some even wearing masks. The trail is an easy hike, clearly marked and well maintained. On this particular section there are two massive fir trees that have fallen and taken out the trail.

The entire hike had beautiful views and the pool at the end is as blue as you see in the pictures. Definitely friendly for kids & dogs (on leash of course).

It’s easy to trip so watch your step. Blue Pool was the only very busy section, but it was Saturday so definitely expected.

If you are coming from the Hwy 20 junction it's about 10 miles past south of the junction. Mosquitos weren’t too bad and mostly shaded from the heat of the sun. Yesterday it was just me and my pup, and we ended up completing it within the day. Turn around and head back to hook up with a forest service road. Even at this distance my child remarked that it sounded like we were camping in a baseball stadium every time people roared as someone jumped into the pool. First few miles are fairly flat (maybe more but I turned around).This was one of the hardest trips I've ever done, mostly because I'm not a biker.
