Bush is a residence hall located on East Green that has AC, a good walk to almost anywhere on campus, and above all, SINKS. While it is a bit of a walk to get to either Shively or Boyd dining halls, you are the closest to all the restaurants that Uptown has to offer, and for that the rest of us are extremely jealous. The bathrooms here are newly renovated and the hall itself is very clean. We all reminisce on the days we used to live it up in the dorms.
I lived here freshmen year, all the way up on the fourth floor, and met my absolute best friends here. Here they are:Naomi Watts cannot get enough of the Aussie skincare brand, Edible Beauty.Gamertsfelder, regularly referred to as "Gam," is a dorm located in the heart of East Green, and Ryors is the First Scholars dorm located on West Green. Shively is located on the south part of East Green and is home to Shively dining hall, notorious for offering the most unhealthy (but sometimes tasty) food. I know you asked for old dorms but I'll give you my 2 cents on new dorms too anyways: Blackburn & Scott (BEST)- New dorms - Closest to classes (STEM buildings & Fisher) - Closest to Scott traditions - Close to gyms (NRC and JON) - High demand so you probably won't get it unless you have a high lottery number. It is the Women's Leadership living community primarily because it is OU's only all-women's dorm. CHOOSE WISELY. This is the place everyone who is lucky enough to be placed first in the lottery rushes to pick. One way that my mother spoiled me was through clothing.To be honest, the recent emphasis of clean beauty in the skincare world never sat right with me. Love is the highest frequency, and my friends transformed the bond with their love to more than they could've ever imagined. As much as I'd love to live in Blackburn or Scott, I'm probably not gonna get a single there, so I put other buildings in my first 2 preferences and put the popular buildings lower on my list. Oh, and of course there is AC.I wanted to ask married couples about how the pandemic has affected their love lives because I couldn't help but wonder if quarantine was just cozy leisure time with their significant other. Lincoln, compared to Morrill only, houses students on certain floors, as the first 15 are vacant offices. The two towers at OSU have been around longer than anyone cares to know. While it doesn't have a laundry center/room or big living rooms on each floor, it does have VERY clean rooms and facilities, as well as AC.
