RAM 1500 also drives better than my GLS550 on regular roads (potholes, etc.) f150 or silverado f150 - reddit. they have the best engines: ecoboost, 5.0, or 6.2. and interior on the fords is leaps and bounds ahead of the chevys. He has had 1 problem where it was blowing black smoke out the tailpipe. The F150 had a significantly larger back seat. When I priced out both, they were roughly the same, but I've heard that Chevy typically has better rebates.If I were you, I wouldn't even look at the Chevy. This is nice. Even F150 Limited is a generation ahead of new Silverado/Sierra on interior. Both the Escalade and Silverado get better real world MPG then the 3.5L EcoBoost motor, and they make more power and are faster. plus the ford wasn't made with your tax dollars.Definitely go with a Silverado... preferably the same generation as your brothers. Works great!You might be able to get a good discount off MSRP right off the bat, then negotiate on trade in value. My dad drives a Lincoln and my mom drives a GMC.
