They are also remodeling a lot of the south campus dorms in the next few years, so future students will have it even better than I did!I lived in Siebert Hall on south campus last year. There are not nearly as many kids living together, and the elevators more often than not stay functional. Most of the South campus dorms do not have air conditioning. Overall the dorms on OU’s campus are good… but not great. My floor was all girls, which I really liked. 18 of 56. They aren't a bad choice.

Bradley and Paterson are awesome buildings, with a perfect bathroom setup (each floor has seven or eight toilet/shower combos with doors that lock, so you have privacy, but the cleaning staff maintains them; truly the best of both worlds).I lived in Siebert Hall on south campus last year. However, there are a few that stand out above the rest, that you should try for whether you are an incoming freshman, sophomore with an early pick date, or a lazy senior who wants to live off the teat of university dining. On South Campus, the dorms are mostly doubles, and I believe the floors are separated by gender with community bathrooms on each floor. The only plus about Morrill is the suite style and of course, its C-store and coffee shop on the first level.

The best dorms on north will most certainly be booked after the sophomore lottery, but even after the lottery between Park-Strad, Smith-Steeb and Siebert you have a good chance at getting one of those nicer dorms. You’ll only get to preference which area of campus you want to live on. There are also four cubicles and eight shelves.South Campus is the way to go.

The worst part about Lincoln is that you can end up in a quad, with four people to one room. You make friends WAY easier than on North or South, and it's suite style so it's easy to hang out with people. So if anyone could provide input on maybe the top two or three dorms on north and south based on the following criteria it'd be appreciated. But you learn how to stay organized. The best part of Lincoln (having lived there myself) is its suite style set up.

Regardless, it was livable!

The best places to eat are on South Campus (Market Place and Mirror Lake Cafe), there is a gym super close (Jesse Owens South), Catfish Biffs (super good pizza open til like 3am), it's close to the Gateway which has restaurants, boutiques, bars, and a movie theater.
